FTP Access

    FTP is typically used to have access to the server to:

    • access files and folders inside the WordPress website
    • access to server files.

    If you wish to amend any server settings, you can visit the website’s Staq Panel under Advanced. You’re able to change both PHP and NGINX settings with a click of a button.

    FTP Access

    FTP access is accessible via the Staq Panel interface of the website in question:

    Then, click the button, Retrieve Connection Details to reveal the server details. From there, you can use something like FileZilla to access the server.

    As you set up a Site Manager in FileZilla, select the protocol as SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol.

    Then, copy and paste the details in the corresponding fields inside FileZilla.

    From there, you have access to your files.

    Can I create specific sFTP users?

    Unfortunately, at this stage, the answer is no.

    How can I direct a user to a specific folder?

    Since you cannot create a specific sFTP user, you can provide instructions on how to direct a user to log into a specific folder by tweaking FileZila settings.

    Inside FileZila, click Advanced and at Default remote directory, insert your path:
